This story is about a woman who had the perfect life, two kids, a loving husband and a happy future. So she thought, until her husband comes home one day and announces that he has fallen in love with another woman and is divorcing her.
Seriously, I was so mad. This woman gave him two children, cared for his home and loved him, what more could he ask for? How can a person do that to their kids, force them into a life of separation of their parents. It's awful that people are so selfish and way too common nowadays.
I enjoyed it are there more of this series?

This story was fun to read. I could see the husband cheating prior to the wife finding out as he tells her he wants a divorce. I did like that supportive friends that she had and her helpful parents. It was heartfelt the fight she had to try to get her husband to stay and work on their marriage. I loved the payback with the "backup" credit card financing the vacation for her and her friends in Europe. Unfortunately, this book also doesn't have an ending. You will have to read the next one (and probably the one after that) to find out what happens.
This was a great book as long as you like a little bit of romance. If you like a lot of romance it wasn't that good
I don't remember ordering this book. I did not read as I do not like love stories, only Mystery and Thriller books.
Story is too short and leaves you hanging so you have to buy the next part to finish story.
Bradley and Julia are high school sweethearts thru college, then married with two kids. He asks for a divorce, she takes his credit card and plans a trip to Paris with her three girlfriends on his tab. Julia was all ways the planner but she finds out it better to just go on a whim.
I feel like in a modern era of 'Ashley Madison' websites and glorified celebrity affairs, a lot of women can relate to the woman in this story. Love Far Away follows the tale of a woman named Julia. Essentially, Julia has the perfect life. Security, a handsome husband, nice children- a life built up from humble beginnings. A nice life, a comfortable life. That is until her husband finds himself under allegations that send Julia into an emotional downfall. As her world falls apart, her friends wisk her away on a European journey in the hopes of getting her mind off of all of the negative things going on at home. Once in Europe, Julia meets the man of any woman's dreams. With that being said, if she delves into her desires with him- she'll further her troubles back at home. Then Julia has to find the answer to one of life's hardest questions; do you follow your heart, or do you follow your mind?
I've read quite a few romance novels lately, but it's been a while since I've read one where the main character is facing common problems that A LOT of women struggle with. It was refreshing to see a character who has to struggle through heartbreak and learn how to cope with imperfections in her life. Of course, the fantasy romance amidst it made it even more entertaining to read. Every damsel in distress wants a handsome European knight in shining armor to come and save the day. The romantic appeal behind the story definitely spoke to my inner lover of love.
This book was well-written and easy to follow. Julia was absolutely one of the most relatable female characters I have found in a romance novel. A little stiff and rigid at first, but once she finds her comfort zone, learns how to let go. She goes through experiences that a lot of women struggle with (although maybe not tied into the same exact storyline). A lot of women can relate to troubles in their marriage or relationship- and finding someone different who changes everything.
I definitely enjoyed Love Far Away. It's based off of a concept that a lot of women dream about, and I think that's why it's going to appeal to so many people. A romantic story that every romance reader will love; if you're into this genre, I couldn't more highly recommend picking this book up.
