There were a ton of great tips in this book. I knew there had to be a way to hit 20,000 steps each day, but this book showed me that not only was it possible, but also how a few changes and additional things added to your daily routine can really add on the steps, and a few of the tips were things I didn't really even think about. And also one more thing... Besides this book giving a load of tips that will surely get you to 20,000 steps and beyond, some of these tips also bring more peace to your life. Like when you finally drill into your head that parking further away from your destination no matter where you are will add the extra steps, it allows you to not even worry about getting "the best/closest spot you can" all the time. You can be at peace and pull into any spot, even the first one you see, because it doesn't matter how far away you are. In fact, it only helps you reach your goal faster.

This little book caught my eye because it had 20,000 as a daily goal for Fit Bit users. Usually, I struggle for 10,000.

With tongue firmly planted in cheek, the author tells ushow to get more steps in while making mundane tasks more productive. While I know I will never walk or pace during a TV show, (too weird, and my husband would say stuff about it), I might try the pacing while waiting on various kitchen appliances to heat up or for water to boil.

And yeah, I know I should park further away from all places I go, but sometimes I don't wanna. It's cold. It's raining. Its too hot. I'm late.
Ok, I'll try...

The author put links to various things in the book in case you needed to know more about it. As an aside to discussing more steps by choosing the farthest bathroom stall, the author put in one of her links. While most previously were of things I didn't need more info on, one of the links made me look. I had no idea there were such things as "Tinkle Targets" and now I know.

It never occurred to me to cheat to get my steps in, so this was another tidbit of knowledge I picked up strap your Fit Bit onto a two year old. I will have to pass, since I don't have any of those around.

This was a fun read, and you will pick up ways to increase your steps, which will make you more active. Check it out.
I have kicked my fitbit to the curb at least a half a dozen times with disgust at my failure to succeed. After reading this, I resolved to do better. I dug the despised bracelet out from under the couch, picked the dog hairs off it, charged it up and put it on. This book contained some very realistic ways to increase one's activity level. At the very least, it was humorous and very informative. There exists a Bowel and Bladder Foundation. Who knew?
Quick read and had some good suggestions for increasing steps into my normal day to day routines. Would recommend this book for someone who is discouraged.
Who knew the subject of walking could be so ENTERTAINING! Bravo! Charity is such a talented author that I'm pretty sure she could make a book entirely about paper clips interesting. It's comical, informative and well written. Walk no RUN to your computer and buy this book!

Small book but great tips!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The author Charity Grant (I like the reasoning behind the pen name I might add) gives you plenty of straight forward easy to use advice on how to rack up them steps on your fitbit! As a personal trainer I always advocate to my clients the need to implement daily activity other than just your workout. This book is an excellent example of how that can be accomplished in the form of adding steps throughout your day! Loved it, highly recommend it!
